Welcome to Wikimmunity.org. The concept behind Wikimmunity.org is to provide a local guide for every community. Our goal is to make local information accessible to everyone located anywhere, anytime. Similar to other wikis, anyone can edit content related to local people, places, and things. Many communities across the US and around the world have a certain uniqueness and Wikimmunity.org is an online community with information from local communities around the US and around the world. Wikimmunity.org is an in-depth directory with not just typical listings, but information about local organizations, local bands, local news, local attractions, companies, people, and points of interest as described by contributors.

Become An Editor, Writer, or Contributor

Are you passionate about writing or about someplace or something within your community? If so, you can make a written contribution to Wikimmunity.org. Anyone can quickly and easily contribute by simply creating a new page or editing a current page. Contributions can be in the form of articles, pictures, and more. Organizations and businesses, especially those without a need for an online presence of their own are encouraged to add their information. Wikimmunity.org intends to become a destination site for local information. Wikimmunity.org accepts content about local landmarks, points of interest, places, or organizations as they relate to a town and its past, present and future as well as all aspects related to any town or community. With help from the online community, Wikimmunity.org will become the “expert” of local guides. You can even use our Site Tools to help generate revenue from your contributions, or advertise your business.

Begin your quest for local info by using the search bar on the left to search for information on any person, place or thing. If information isn't there, ADD IT ;-). Do you have a favorite pet and would like to create a tribute, then do it right here on Wikimmunity.org. Take a look at Bonnie for an example. Know of a good restaurant, club, or bar in your city? Then tell about it! Build an informational resource on your community with Wikimmunity.org!
