Adding pages is really simple. If you want to edit a page that already exists, then search for it (or access it directly by going to http://www.wikimmunity.org/wiki/index.php?title=pagename) and just click the Edit button on top.

If you want to add a new page, go to the URL http://www.wikimmunity.org/wiki/index.php?title=Enter_new_page_name_here (for example, http://www.wikimmunity.org/wiki/index.php?title=ABC_Company to add an ABC Company page). Then just start typing!

Helpful Hints

• To make a link to another Wikimmunity page, use this syntax: [[linkname|Link Description]]

Pictures Or Images

• To add an image, first you have to upload the file (look on the left of this text, in the toolbox); Have a little fun and take pictures of businesses and local attractions with your digital camera and upload it to the corresponding page! But remember, please don't upload images over 300k in size, and please don't upload pornography, copyrighted works or other inappropriate works. Then, in your document, just type [[Image:The_Filename_You_Sent.jpg|thumb|Image Description]]. For an example of a page with pictures visit the Merrill Park page.

Guidelines

Please follow these few guidelines, so that the information added to Wikimmunity is easy to control and categorize.

• If you're adding a business or local attraction , please CATEGORIZE it. To categorize, put this text at the bottom of your page: [[Category:FL Restaurants]], for example.

• If you're adding a place within a city, please categorize it. For example, if you created a page about JB's Tavern in Edison, NJ in the example just before, you could put [[Category:Edison, NJ Bars]] just after the page on JB's. You can also put other related categories such as [[Category:NJ Bars]] and [[Category:NJ Food Establishments]]Be as specific as possible when adding categories to a business to better categorize each business.

• Another example would be for a defense attorney in New York. After creating the page with the name of the lawyer or law practice, you would add the following category [[Category:NY Defense Attorney]]. Get the idea?

• If you're adding a person, take a look at this example for DJ Tejo, who provides disc jockey services for weddings and parties.
