Fresno is a city in the heart of California located in the center of the San Joaquin Valley. It has a population of approximately 500,000. It has hot summers (Avg. Temp. mid-high 90s) and cold winters (but no snow), and a pleasant spring and fall.

Though it is not a popular destination itself, it is close to many of California's other attractions. For example: 3hr drive to San Francisco, 3 1/2 hr drive to Los Angeles, 1 1/2 hour drive to Yosemite, 3hr drive to Monterey, 3hr drive to Pismo Beach/Morro Bay. 1 hour drive to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks.
